For the Bible Tells Me So (2007)
This documentary does a fantastic job of examining the dissenting view on homosexuality that has been created by religion. It takes the bible verses used to back up the belief that homosexuality is a sin, examines them under the context of the time in which they were written, and ultimately disproves them. Very interesting.
It’s available for instant streaming on Netflix.

Hey all!

I finally am (sorta) settled in my new apartment, so that means a giveaway!

[image description: the cover of Rage: A Love Story by Julie Anne Peters. It’s pink, and at the top of the cover is a photo of someone’s closed eyes wearing pink eyeshadow. “RAGE” takes up most of the cover, and the A is crooked. End description.]

Current giveaway: Rage: A Love Story, by Julie Anne Peters

Rage is about Johanna, a girl who everyone depends on. She falls for Reeve, a girl who everyone says is trouble. It’s a story about first love, and an abusive relationship.

This giveaway is international, assuming postage doesn’t end up being over $20 US. Reblogging this post will give you an extra entry. Winner is chosen by a random number generator. You don’t need to be following me.

Giveaway ends: Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Entries due by 11pm, EST.

I’ve also made a page on the site for giveaways. I’m using google forms this time, which will hopefully make it easier (and allow readers without tumblr accounts to enter).
