This is my soldier, Lydia. She is currently is Afghanistan. I met her three months ago, from a facebook message. I usually ignore messages from people I don’t know, but something told me that this girl was different. We started talking constantly and she opened my eyes to why things never worked with anyone else. I get to meet her in person this month and I’m so excited. I was going to wait to ask her to be my girlfriend in person, but I wanted to start the new year with someone who treats me amazingly. I can’t wait to finally have her in my arms. Everything feels so right. :)
